Instagram Posts
We love Instagram! Its health & wellness + biohacking community is fantastic.
However they do make it a bit challenging to link back to specific content.
Most often, we add a post connect to a blog entry. Here you can find the deeper dive you were looking for!

Light Therapy for Joint Health and Repair with Reviiv Light
Reviiv Light’s Move+ - a light therapy device which relieves joint pain safely and quickly by stimulating factors which support healthy joint cartilage.
To date, early testers have been completely ‘wowed’ by the effects they’ve seen on their levels of pain and restoration of function in joints which have plagued them for years and even decades.
Our job is to put such claims to the test! We’re here to help you get your hands on a device at a discount and guide you through testing before & after to quantify the results yourself. Read more here!
SElf-experimenting with ONeSKIN OS-1
We do a deep dive interview with OneSkin CEO and Co-Founder Dr Carolina Reis to understand - what is OneSkin OS-1 and how does it work?
By targeting skin aging at the cellular level, this novel topical supplement is shaking up the anti-aging skincare industry, by removing and preventing aged skin cells at the source - rather than just covering them up.
Come read the interview and be sure to subscribe so you can see how OS-1 stacks up as our Founder Nick puts it to the test on his own face!
Improving GlycanAge by Eating a Diversity of Plants
Longevity Blog recently collaborated with GlycanAge to self-experiment with their at-home test kit ‘GlycanAge’ to measure biological age over the course of a well-controlled self-experiment.
In this experiment, our Founder Nick used a change in diet (holding stress, sleep and exercise constant) where he ate 30+ different plants per week.
You can read the introductory post designing the self-experiment and explaining why it was hypothesised to work in part 1.
Then, read about the results in part 2 - including the details on how Nick improved his GlycanAge by 6 years in just 3 months.
Biohacking NAD levels
Through a combination of NMN and TMG, I’ve run a successful self-experiment which improved my biological age by 3.5 years. Here on Longevity Blog, I detail how you can run this experiment yourself as well as presenting the results from my own. Check them out, so you too can benefit from these incredible supplements. I was skeptical! Now I’m a big fan.
If you’d like to keep learning about NMN, we’ve several interviews with topic area experts like Dr. Eric Verdin and Dr. Alessia Grozio. Be sure to dig in!
Comprehensive Skin Cancer Check at MoleMap
A visit by our Founder Nick to a MoleMap clinic in the Sydney CBD provided a comprehensive skin cancer screening, leveraging imaging technology to make a ‘map’ of his skin, forming a baseline for future tracking.
This visit provided a ‘baseline’ for tracking Nick’s unique set of moles over time. Quick changing moles or any areas of the skin which begin to react to excessive sun damage, need to be re-assessed over continually, and this technology enables that.
Depending on your individual risk factors (age, sun exposure, existing moles, genetics), MoleMap will provide you with guidance on how often you should re-assess with a follow-up appointment.
Urolithin A - an interview with Amazentis
This post reviews one of the newer longevity supplements to hit the scene - Urolithin A. This molecule is certainly turning some heads in the longevity & wellness biohacking community, owing to an unusually wide array of purported benefits.
Perhaps the most interesting and most rigorously studied benefits from clinical trials (research in humans), led by Swiss biosciences company Amazentis.
We interview their CMO Federico Luna in this latest Longevity Blog post, focusing in on the state of the art in our knowledge about Urolithin A. We suspect it may make a good candidate for many of our readers self-experimentation efforts!
Interview series with the health nucleus
Full-body #MRI data is powerful. When combined with post-processing algorithms and machine learning, it can become a core part of your optimisation and #longevity strategy. For me, it’s a first line of defence for early detection of #cancer, but also serves as great dataset for tracking my performance over time
I’ve published a four part interview with Health Nucleus Medical Director Dr. Keegan Duchicela. We discuss the role of such data in not only the early detection of disease, but also for assessing muscle mass, visceral & subcutaneous fat and much more.
Boosting the immune system with IV Therapy
#Immunity is on our minds lately, and in the latest #longevityblog post, I share my experience with @next_health Super Immune IV therapy. The first image you presents a selection of white blood cell counts (WBC) and differentials (the breakdown of the types of white blood cells) from four separate blood tests. The first two points on the x-axis are 'control' data from times where I was not travelling, and the last two (Nov-19 and Jan-20) are data from two international trips that included a long-haul roundtrip flight from Sydney to LA.
assessing the aesthetic age
How old is your face? I used a #Visia scan unit at @next_health during my recent visit to LA to get my own answer! Using multispectral imagery, this unit assessed my pores, UV damage, bacterial load, spotting and more! Turns out while I look 27 (based on my statistical sampling of asking others how old I look), and I am actually 34, my facial skin is 31! I can’t wait to #biohack it to an even more youthful state with lazers :)
