YoungGoose Skincare Review - My Before and After Journey
In this detailed review of Young Goose Skincare, I share my before and after high resolution Visia scan images with you, detailing the results of my use of their YouTH Reset Serum and YouTH Daily Moisturizing Cream.
I will be keeping this review current, by posting results at 2, 4 and 6 months across the 2025 calendar year. In this initial update, I present my results after 10 weeks of twice daily use.
In this post, I will demonstrate to you how to complete your own ‘self-experiment’ in order to determining if Young Goose skincare will result in your own positive before and after experience. This review will introduce the two products I used, the basics of the Visia Scan unit that I recommend you utilize in your own self-experiment. We’ll also link to our detailed interview with Young Goose Skincare Co-Founder and CEO Amitay Eshel.
Let’s get started!
Reviewing Young Goose Skincare: Is Young Goose worth it?
Young Goose Skincare is a unique brand in the ‘longevity’ technology space. Much like our other skincare collaborator - OneSkin, they have come to the market with unique longevity molecules, with powerful ingredient combinations that claim to truly be able to rejuvenate your skin.
The argument is that they truly can make your skin more youthful - this of course implies that it can actually repair age related damage and of course provide the visible benefits of more youthful skin.
At A Longer Life, we believe that investing in your aesthetic age (how old you look) is not an exercise in vanity. It is investment in an asset worthy of being protected. Yet, more importantly, since your skin is first point of exposure with your environment, it experiences all manner of stressors and dangers - most importantly UV radiation. Damage to your skin drives many of the age-related processes which not only make you “look” older, but actually drives the process of becoming biologically older throughout your body through the accumulation of senescent cells and systematic inflammation
Let’s first take a look at the two Young Goose Skincare products that I am reviewing, and then we will look into the before and after results.
Reviewing Young Goose Skincare Products: YouTH Reset and YouTH Daily
For this review, I used the YouTH Reset Serum and YouTH Daily Moisturizing Cream twice per day - once in the morning and once in the evening.
I applied the serum first, to damp freshly cleaned skin as per the instructions on the packaging. I used a single pump of the serum, gently massaging into the face until completely absorbed. I followed this with a single pump of the moisturizing cream, also massaging gently until absorbed by the skin.
The bottle of serum lasted me eight weeks at this level of use and the moisturizing cream is still not empty after ten weeks of continuous use.

YouTH Daily Serum Active Ingredients:
The primary active ingredients in the serum are:
NAD+ Nobel:
NAD+ reduced to its precursors NR, NMN, and others using ultrasonic vibration, reducing them to tiny, nano-sized molecule so they can pass through the skin. These molecules are then suspended in a lipid-based gel, creating microencapsulated bubbles that are liposomal so they’re stable, absorbable, and they actually reach the skin cells.
This then provides all of the benefits of NAD+ delivery to support skin longevity.
CelVio Spermidine Complex:
Spermidine re-activates autophagy helping the body identify damaged or malfunctioning components and eliminating them. In the skin, this process leads to:
Reduced signs of aging
Improved texture and resilience
Enhanced regeneration
More youthful cellular function overall
Enhance Copper Peptide Complex:
Traditional GHK-Cu with additional synergistic peptides. These are specifically designed to amplify extracellular matrix (ECM) production which includes elastin fibers and other structural components of the skin
MAP Vitamin C:
MAP: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate. This is a more stable and effective form of Vitamin C which is less irritating to the skin compared to other forms and is also more active as an antioxidant
YouTH Moisturizing Cream Active Ingredients:
NAD+ Nobel
CelVio Spermidine Complex:
Enhanced Copper Peptide Complex:
Enhanced Fermented Resveratrol:
The fermented version of resveratrol makes resveratrol:
50x more bioavailable
Able to support other longevity molecules like NAD+ and spermidine more effectively
We cover all of these ingredients in more detail in our 1:1 interview with Young Goose Co-Founder and CEO Amitay Eshel, which you can read here. You can also watch our playlist of videos on YouTube.
How to Test Before and After While Reviewing Young Goose Skincare
My go to resources for before and after data on all things skincare is the Visia Scanner from Campbell Scientific. You can find these units at many skincare clinics around the world, and often they are included for free in initial consultations with an aesthetician.
You can find these by web searching for “Visia Scanner near me”, or by finding a few local skincare clinics and exploring their list of services.
Visia scans report on 8 key metrics, which allow you to track the impact of skin care treatments over time. Some of these metrics are more responsive to a given intervention than others. So it is important to know which of these metrics to pay attention to when you’re self-experimenting.
Using abridged descriptions from the Campbell Scientific FAQ page and bit of input from skincare specialists, we consider the following metrics of the most value in before and after reviews:
Wrinkles: Wrinkles are furrows, folds or creases in the skin, which increase in occurrence as a result of sun exposure, and are associated with decreasing skin elasticity. This skin feature has the greatest variability from image to image as it is highly dependent upon the facial expression of the client.
Texture: Texture is primarily an analysis of skin smoothness. Texture measures skin color and smoothness by identifying gradations in color from the surrounding skin tone, as well as peaks (yellow) and valleys (blue) on the skin surface that indicate variations in the surface texture.
Spots (including “Brown Spots”): Spots are typically brown or red skin lesions including freckles, acne scars, hyper-pigmentation and vascular lesions. Spots are distinguishable by their distinct color and contrast from the background skin tone. Spots vary in size and generally have a circular shape.
UV Spots: UV spots occur when melanin coagulates below the skin surface as a result of sun damage. UV spots are generally invisible under normal lighting conditions.
With the Young Goose Skincare products introduced and the Visia scanner basics in hand, let’s take a look at the results after 10 weeks of continuous use!
Young Goose Skincare Before and After: High Resolution Pictures
When I revisited my local aesthetician for my follow-up scan, she greeted me with great interest. I’ve found whatever clinic I attend to get these images, they are always quite curious about what I am testing and the results I’ve found.
Her first remark to me was that my skin ‘radiance’ looked much improved, and that she thought my skin looked quite healthy. This of course is a subjective difference, so we look to the Visia scan results for the real evidence.
I was quite surprised when I sat down to review the Visia Scan images to find that she was most certainly correct. I suppose I should not be surprised that her expert eye was able to pick up on what the scan revealed.
Comparing left (before) to right (after 10 weeks), my skin was indeed ‘glowing’. And this exactly matches what Amitay Eshel said in our interview that with regular use, users can expect to see “enhanced radiance”.
We can observe this very clearly on the forehead, bridge of the nose and to a lesser extent areas of the cheeks.
Before and After UV damage with Young Goose
To date, despite experimenting with OneSkin OS-01 (including their sunscreen), OneTruth 818 and IPL Laser Therapy, I have not been able to generate any improvements to the UV damage in my skin. I have been able to stabilize it with these products, but not reverse any of the damage.
This damage is revealed by the Visia scanner through a UV flash and a UV camera, showing us the damage as black spots in the skin. This damage is invisible to the naked eye, but leads to collagen breakdown and spotting over time - it may not be able to be seen, but it is quite consequential.
Imagine my shock and absolute delight to see clear and measurable improvements in the UV damage in my face after using Young Goose for just 10 weeks! I am genuinely impressed with this finding.
We can see visible improvements through the reduction in spotting density in multiple regions of my face, with the biggest changes on my forehead region. Through the use of the percentile scores, which compare me to others in my demographic (e.g. matched age and gender), the following improvements were documented (increasing percentile is improving):
I am very interested to see if this trend continues after using Young Goose skincare for a few more months.
Young Goose Before and After: Brown Spots
Brown spots have been another sticking point for me - thus far, only IPL Laser Therapy has been able to improve this metric, and only slightly. My skin is prone to brown spotting and my rankings have been pretty poor for my demographic, historically.
That is, until I tried Young Goose - which produces significant and measurable improvement in brown spots, particularly on the sides of my face. Not only can you see less overall ‘load’ of brown spots on my cheeks (note how they look ‘lighter’), but the analytics pick this up clearly.
Reviewing Skincare Before and After for Young Goose: Wrinkles
Given everything that I learned about Young Goose, particularly in the autophagy clearing and elastin boosting, I did expect to see improvement in my wrinkles.
However, the Visia scan did not pick up any changes (yet) - I’ll be checking back on this one for sure. I am aware that wrinkles can be one of the changes that takes the longest to occur - and indeed in my previous work with OneSkin it took at least 6 months to observe changes in my wrinkle depth and prevalence.
Young Goose Review Conclusions: Stay Tuned
Now, as I mentioned at the outset, I’ve only used Young Goose for 10 weeks. I will be updating you again at 4 and 6 months respectively, so you can consider this 2025 review to be very much still ongoing.
Still - there is much to be excited about. Positive changes in my brown spots and the UV damage really have me quite encouraged. I’ve found these difficult to change in the past, so to see measurable and visible improvements is very promising.
At this stage, I am comfortable sharing that I will continue to use Young Goose skincare and sharing the positive changes that I’ve seen so far. With so many ‘skincare’ products on the market that don’t really get into the underlying features of ‘aging’, to see early signs of rejuvenative effects in my skin - that’s honestly got me feeling quite hopeful about what we will see over the next few months!
So stay tuned! Be sure to sign-up to our weekly newsletter, so you know when we update this review!
